One of the only books to address the psoas and the theory of how it lifts the body. Anatomy of Movement: Exercises Blandine Germain, July 1996, ISBN # 093961622x : Discusses the way the body moves during exercise. Muscles Testing and Function Kendall & Kendall-McCreary, 4th Edition, 1993, ISBN # 0683045768; Great explanations of testing strength, shortness, and weakness in muscles. Illustrated Essentials of Musculoskeletal Anantomy Sieg and Adams, 3rd edition, 1996, ISBN # 0935157026; Simplified anatomy pictures with basic muscle anatomy. Trail Guide to the Body Andrew Biel, 1997, ISBN # 0965853403. Written by a massage therapist who taught Cadaver Anatomy at Bastyr University (for massage therapists). Andrew has a great respect for the body and life. Physical examination of the Spine and Extremities Stanly Hoppenfeld, MD, 1976, ISBN #0838578535. Really a Physical Therapy manual, but simple enough for massage therapists. Job's
body Deane Juhan, Reads more like a novel about the
body, but a real must for a massage therapists' library.
