I am starting this blog to be used as a forum for finding a great massage school until I can get other software to do this.
One of the things that I hear about from people is that massage schools are not telling people the whole story and they are luring them into going to massage school by saying things like how much they will make and how wonderful a career in massage is.
While this can be true, massage school is not for everyone. It takes more than just knowing anatomy and physiology and knowing how to put your hands on someone. It is 10% technique and 90% about who you are. Massage schools do not have the time to put into developing the practitioner and it is really more of a lifetime process.
So please post your massage school listing and use the comments section to send your students to to vent their frustrations or rave about your school. I will not allow blatent attacks on school owners or teachers. If you have something to complain about, do it through using specific examples and stories about how the issue was dealt with by the school.
Part of going to massage school (or doing anything for that matter) is learing to take more responsibility for yourself. If you are just going to complain about a massage school and not ask them directly for what you need without playing the victim, then don’t bother posting here.
As this develops, I hope to be adding massage schools and more information about them.
