One of the things that most massage therapists don’t realize is that they can make money with their website while they are out doing massage and getting new clients. The way to do this is by having affiliate programs which is just another way of saying you sell other people’s products on your website. There are so many people who will find your website who are not potential clients so it is just common sense to take make every page add to your income.
The way to do this is to choose affiliate programs (products, ebooks, services) that you use yourself or that you know works and promote them through your website. You can promote books that you recommend or other massage tools, massage supplies and such.
One of the most popular places that provide a wide variety of tools and such is of course amazon.com. You can become an associate and then get links to put on your site for various products. The best way to sell products is to actually be a user of them and talk about them with your readers and even your clients or use them in your sessions. You can tell people to go to your site if they want them for their own use. You can also create guidesheets and help for using them. Like one of the big sellers on my clinic site is the theracane triggerpoint massage tool.
You can also create a section for massage therapists on your website and promote tools for them to be successful too. My favorite are the bodyworkbiz.com program and massageinsurancebilling.com’s programs. I also promote the 12 week online class on how to build a website from Site Build it!
It is best to just keep it to items you know but you basically can also create a campaign and sell other products online. You don’t even need a website. You just need to take the time to do some research and write some articles on the products and post them to major article directories. As far as I know Xsitepro is just about making the website. Site Build it! is about creating an online business. A website isn’t any good if no one finds it. SBI! is all about getting your site found and making the sale, referral or getting the client (whatever your most wanted response is)
