Money Issues for Massage Therapists

I found this great discussion going on at Bodywork online about money issues in the massage profession.

It is really amazing that it started in 2005 and is still going on today.

The first person who posted was being totally honest and brought up an issue of feeling uncomfortable about taking money for doing massage.

She thought she would be the only one and she thought she would be judged but it turns out that everyone chimed in with their own issues and took the discussion deep into personal issues about money. It was so amazing to read everyones comments.

Many are faced with issues around money. Helping others gets confusing because we think that we should be making money doing something so wonderful. We think that making money somehow devalues the massage.

The truth is that money issues are really just showing you your fears and beliefs so clearly. When you can begin to see where your beliefs come from, you can begin to change them.

It is ok to make money and in fact it is actually good to make money.

The Science of Getting Rich Practical Geniuses course talks about it and how it is all really about just living up to your full potential. I have learned more about my beliefs from that course that I started a few years ago and refer to often even now. (You can choose how much you want to pay for the course which is really amazing since all of the other law of attraction teachers are charging such outrageous prices to learn something that should be common knowledge and soon will be)
