I have found that one of the secrets of a good website is make it easy to get around it and to put in enough information but do not over do it.
Personally if I find a website which is very wordy I don’t even bother to read it. So keep it concice, and to the point but not over the top! Most of my new clients are now coming from seeing my website. So I know it is working for me.
