Making a Living Online

Making a living online is becoming a more easily achievable goal.  I am sure you have read all of the sales pages on making a living online. I have seen it all -

 "Get Rich Quick"

"You can make $209,654 in just 3
weeks if you follow this amazing program"

But none of them work of course.

So I will just tell you what I have been doing to make residual income online and what I know about doing just that!  This page is on my website www.thebodyworker.com that is just a site about everything I learned in massage school. Because of it's high rankings with the search engines, I can create a page on almost anything and get it listed just like I did to get you to find me when you were searching for something like "making a living online".

I started it as therapy to recover from burnout in the massage profession.  I created it after reading an Ebook called "Make Your Site Sell" which you can now read for free.  Some of the information is outdated but it will still give you an idea of how to start making a living online.  The basic formula is still the same.

  1. Find a topic that a lot of other people want to know about.  You do that by researching keywords to find out what other people are searching for and what they are interested in.  It also has to be a topic that doesn't have many sites out there already doing that or the sites out there are really poorly done.

  2. See if you can figure out a way to make money by using something like Google Adsense, selling other people's products (affiliate marketing), using other pay per click programs or creating your own ebook or product.

  3. Plan out the site blueprint based on the keywords that you researched in step one.

  4. Create a website that has that content or information based on those keywords.

  5. Analyze your results and keep figuring out what people want more of and give them more of it until you are making a living online.

It won't happen overnight.  It isn't about getting rich quick.  It is about creating a site with high quality content about something that you know and love.  You don't have to be a good writer.  You just have to write the way you talk about whatever it is that you love.

Everyone knows something about something.  You would be amazed at what you know.  So many people go through their whole lives not realizing their potential because they think that they have nothing to offer.

Do you know how to cook?  Clean?  Raise kids?

Do you know about coffee?  Crafts?  Sports?

Do you know something about computers, special programs, relationships, scuba diving?

Do you know something about taking care of elderly parents, people with specific diseases, overcome challenges of your own?

Do you have a small business of your own that you would like to get clients for or sell more products?

Do you love movies? Books?  Antiques?  Playing Board games or puzzles?

Just take a quick look at the examples of what other people are doing in these case studies and there are more examples in this section on that shows what kind of results website owners are getting.

You can take almost anything and turn it into a website just like I have here and with my other sites www.massage-career-guides.com and www.workless-playmore.com

If a massage therapist who once knew nothing about computers can do it - so can you.

See you at the beach!
