Website Building for Massage Therapists

(or other Health Service Business)

Website Building is an essential skill that is required for building a successful massage business.  Your massage business website needs to show up on the first spot on the first page of Google and all of the search engines.  When it does you will be attracting people who are already looking for massage!  The constant challenge of getting clients is already half over and the law of attraction is set in place when you take the time to create an optimized and content filled website for your massage business!

They are ideal clients - the ones that you want because they already are interested or know about massage.  People who are already looking for massage don't really need to be sold on massage.  They do need to get to know you and get to trust you.  That is what your website should really be doing - building trust.

You can't really do that in a simple 8 page website that just talks about your rates, services and locations.  What makes the difference in getting people to trust you is writing more about massage, what massage does, how massage works and putting what you learned in massage school and working with clients into writing.  You don't have to be a writer but just be able to put down in words the things that you should be talking to clients about anyway.   Putting these things into a website will also help you in talking with people - potential clients and current clients.  Learn more about writing content for your site.

Getting your site to the top of the search engine results and getting the client to call and become a regular weekly client is what Site Build it! (SBI!) the webhost that I use and recommend, is all about.

Most people think that starting a website begins with choosing the domain name.  That actually comes a bit later - after you have figured out what keywords people are looking for.  SBI supplies the tools and resources to figure it out!  Learn more about choosing a domain name.

Everything online is about keywords. People search using keywords.  Websites are found based on their correct use of keywords.  SBI! will help you choose the best keywords for your site and will teach you how to build pages using the keywords correctly for the best search engine results.

Search Engines won't know your website is there until you let them know it is there! To announce your site to Search Engines, you need to submit a specialized file called a "Sitemap XML" file. SBI! creates this special file  automatically, a huge time saver, that enables you to quickly achieve wider distribution and attract more targeted free traffic. (You do have to submit your xml sitemap to the Search engines the first time but it is all explained in the action guide.) Learn more about submitting your website to search engines.

List-building and e-mail marketing are included (usually these expensive features are bought separately). Sign up visitors to your e-zine subscription list and then mail an issue to them. This repeat exposure builds a stronger bond with your visitors and allows for direct promotions to them. Deeper PREselling (building trust) = More Monetization.

I personally use Site Build it! for my clinic website and for my other massage website - www.massage-career-guides.com.  This site was built using the SBI! principles even though I use other hosting for that mainly because I started this site in 1999 before I knew about SBI!

So Let me know if you have any questions, comments or feedback!
